Every year when we go to Rocky Mountain National Park I look for a moose.  That is one of the few animals I have not found in the wild.  Last year Scott and the boys went on a fishing trip without me and guess what they saw…of course, a moose (and I never heard the end of it).  Well this is my lucky year…and look, he is HUGE…can’t miss Bullwinkle this time!

fantastic shot, or is he still a baby with all that fuzz on his horns? (FYI, the email sent went directly into our spam for some reason)

I love the Velvet on those sprouting Antlers too. Lucky you’re not mrried to Robbie Burns cause he had a “Moose Loose in the Hoose” or some such gibberish!

He’s fabulous! I saw them in Yellowstone, but they all had their coats moulting – not nearly as pretty as this…

How exciting for you! We saw a moose on our last visit to RMNP, too. Maybe it’s the same moose! 😀
