Coyotes are a common site around most areas, although they are not common to me.  Every night on our vacation I saw this coyote roaming around the cabins.  He seemed very comfortable around people and when I yelled “hey puppy” he gave me a quick glance.

    Hi Tammy,
He’s a beautiful guy. To think you saw him in the wild. What a sight to see. Have a great day!

    Great shot on this guy:-=

They aren’t a common sight in Australia, and I really love the whole atmosphere of the scene you captured but they are probably like our Dingoes (In that when people feed them they come to expect it and when new people come around the attack) Taking just photos is the best idea.

  7. A great shot. We have some in our area but I have not seen any.

Are there no coyotes in Nebraska? We have plenty here in CT, but they are shy, so it would be tough to get such a clear shot of one.

  9. Tony Says:

They are not common to me, too. Great shot!

How cool to have an uncommon situation be common during your vacation.

Ok, you’re going to think this is strange, but for some reason these guys scare me.
We have lots of them that come out at night at House #2, and their sound scares me to death.
This is a great shot though! 🙂
