This adolescent dove had taken up camp in my feeder.  He has been eating like a growing dove and when he gets tired eating he takes a nap right in the feeder.  We are beginning to think he is destined to be the Guard of the feeder.

    Hi Tammy,
He knows a good thing when he sees it. Cute little guy. Have a great day!

  2. Very nice picture! If he didn’t have such a curious look in his eye I’d find him rather scary 😉

Scruffy adolescent birds always look a little forlorn to me. This guy at least has a full tummy!

  11. Baby doves are so funny. They look sorta scarey, but they are so full of curiousity. They don’t mind staring at you.
