Besides the church, this observatory is another landmark on Creighton University’s campus.  Built in 1855, this is Omaha’s first and Nebraska’s second observatory.  For more info on it’s history go HERE.

    How cool that it is that old, and what a fine composition with it framed in an ivied wall. Fun that your twins will be close at what looks like a place with tradition

    This used to be one of my favorite places to hang out when I was going to Creighton (a LONG time ago – but not so long ago that the observatory was working – I’m not THAT old!) – it was quiet and a good place to de-stress from my studies.
